Here are a few testimonials from our beloved families:

“I have been an Angela Hospice home care volunteer for nearly 25 years. I stay with patients at home to allow the caregivers to get out. Occasionally my patients have spent respite time in area facilities, so I am familiar with the sights and smells of a large facility.”

“When my bright and cheerful patient told me that she would be moving to a facility, I was heartsick. You can imagine my delight when I first visited Canton Crossings, an actual home converted to a comfortable living space for a maximum of seven fortunate residents. When I have been there, Jeff, one of the owners, is usually in the kitchen working on the evening meal. He has culinary training from Schoolcraft College and has done catering in the past. My patient tells me that the meals are fabulous.”

“I have been visiting for months, and the atmosphere is always calm and relaxed. The needs of every resident are attended to immediately and with kindness, gentleness, patience and good humor.  I’m totally impressed with the way Jeff and his staff maintain an air of calm, comfort and security.”

“In the time I have been visiting, the residents have been taken out to lunch and soon there will be a trip to the cider mill. It is not trivial to move six wheelchairs, but these field trips are a wonderful treat for the residents.”

“This week, everyone sat around the dining room table and made individual apple “pies,” slicing their own apples and talking about how they made pies in their own homes. In the afternoon, when the warm pies came out of the oven, my patient wanted hers right then. She got it. She wanted coffee with it. Yes. And some ice cream. Yes. At Canton Crossing, everyone works to be sure the answer is “Yes.”

“I suspect that most people would like to stay in their own homes as they age. But when it is necessary to live in a supervised situation, I can’t imagine a better place than Canton Crossing Assisted Living.”

“My father is 87-years-old and is currently a resident of Canton Crossings.  His health has been declining for sometime now and he is currently in the last stages of Alzheimer’s.  Our family was unable to care for him sufficiently and we were in quite a quandary.  We were hesitant to put him in a nursing facility with so many other residents.  We had the good fortune to hear about Canton Crossings through a friend and we quickly scheduled a meeting with Tracy and Jeff.  The home itself is a lovely house situated in the City of Canton.  It has spacious rooms and large hallways and is fully handicap friendly.  It’s always clean and warm and feels like a home.  Jeff and Tracy are two of the nicest, most patient people I’ve ever met.  Their caregivers are also kind and patient and fully equipped to handle any situation that arises.  The meals prepared for our father are healthy as well as delicious and the staff caters to our father’s every need.  Their kindness and compassion are unsurpassed and we are so very grateful to have found such a wonderful environment and compassionate people to care for our father.  They have been a blessing to our family and we would recommend anyone with a loved one who needs assistance to meet with them and visit their home.”

“We had moved my dad here after having some bad experiences in short term care at other Assisted Living facilities. What a difference! Dad is so much happier and the staff is the most compassionate and caring people you will ever meet. It isn’t just an assisted living for my dad, it’s his home. Jeff and Tracey ensure that your loved one gets the best care by personalizing your loved ones needs. Best decision we ever made!”
